What to do in Chefchaouen!!!
Greetings from Moroccan adventure team, for today article we will be talking about what can you do on your visit for Chefchaouen the blue City.
As you know Chefchaouen is a very famous place for taking beautiful pictures, that you may find on Instagram or Pinterest. Aside from taking pictures make sure to visit and do the following activities.
1: Make sure to visit Plaza Uta El-Hammam, which is a very nice square, where is founded one of the oldest grand Mosques, nearby you will also notice nice buildings influences by the Jewish architecture as well as the Moorish ones.
2: Ras El Maa waterfalls, that take place inside Chefchaouen city, also a very must-see place. It is a place with several small waterfalls, that attracts people tourists or locals in the summer, to cool off with a nice cup of fresh orange juice.
3:Coffe break: take a coffee break and try some snacks like Goat Cheese, Moroccan sweets, Moroccan Mint tea, or a cup of coffee. Also, there are many coffee shops all around Chefchaouen so chose one in Outa El Hammam Plaza, or near the waterfalls.
4: if you have More than a day in Chefchaouen, make sure to book a hammam appointment, which is the Moroccan traditional Bathhouse.
You can book one on trip advisor or just arrange it with your Riad. And you can also try a simple one with locals for a full experience on how locals use the traditional Bathhouse.
5:Make sure to have your lunch in Casa Hassan or Cafe Clock, also the suggestions are endless, make sure to chose one with a nice view.
