FAMOUS MOROCCAN WINTER FOODS: 

Moroccan cuisine is by far the most delicious and worth tasting cuisine in the whole world, through every season the plates changes and also the flavors gets into a full update mode. For the travelers who will seek exploring Morocco in the winter season.
So I've got for you the best foods you must visit during winter in Morocco

Starting with: 
  • HARIRA:
Harira is a classic Moroccan comfort soup for locals made with tomatoes, lentils, chickpeas,fresh herbs, dried spices and meat, making it a filling and satisfying dish. It is very famous for breaking the fast during Ramadan , but since it is hot and makes you warm you can drink it through the winter. It is usually served with lemon slices , crusty bread and a flavored pastry called Chebakia. You might eat it if you visited Marrakesh especially in Jemaa El Fna. 
  • BISSARA:
Bissara is a dish in Moroccan cuisine that contains split fava beans, onions, garlic, fresh aromatic herbs and spices. This dish is mostly served with Moroccan bread and a mix of oil with cumin. It can also be a side dish along with Sardines, and it i most famous in the northwestern of Morocco like Tangier, Chefchaouen....
  • TAGINE:
Since Tagine is an all along year food,it is a must in winter since it contains all genre of delicious mixtures , like; Beef tagine with prunes, with caramelized apricots, with preserved lemon and olives , artichokes and green peas, berber vegetable tagine , lamb tagine and fish tagine with chermoula, and the list goes on and on. You can eat tagine anywhere in Morocco but i suggest for you Fes.  
  • SNAIL SOUP:
The Snail soup is a popular street staple in Morocco. You'll find food vendors simmering up large vats of snail soup and each one has their own recipe. Since this soup is rich and warm and believed to be good for digestion and fevers. So that's why it is highly recommended through winter season. If you want to eat snail soup, you will use toothpick to pick out the snails from their shells then drink down the tasty broth. 
  • BELBOULA:
This delicious soup holds so many memories, since it was mostly made by grandmothers, Belboula is a light soup made of barley grits and milk all cooked together until it's warm and soft. I highly recommend to eat Belboula when it's raining to feel the warmth of this amazing soup.
