↞↝Photography adventure in Chefchaouen↜↠

⟿⟿Through this adventure you will explore some mind-blowing landscapes; our destination will be The Blue Pearl Of Morocco “Chefchaouen”.

Taking pictures is a way to preserve and save the moment, happy, romantic, relaxing moments. You may not know Chefchaouen, it is a town located in the Rif Mountains, in the north of Morocco, away from Tangier and Tetouan only about some hundred kilometres. Chefchaouen was founded in 1471 by Moulay Ali Ben Moussa Ben Rached El Alami, as a small castle which still survives till now.

Along the journey you will notice that there are numerous different mosques in the town, for example, the mosque at Place Uta Hammam in the medina, there is also a mosque committed to the donor saint of Northern Morocco’s Jebalah region, Moulay Abdeslam Ben Mchich Alami. His tomb is somehow near from Chefchaouen on the old road to Larache. There is also a desolated mosque established by the Spanish with a very old antique architecture.

Another place that worth taking pictures is the narrow streets which are painted in blue including building, doors, windows as well, you may think it is a bit exaggerated, but it is super relaxing and it is a way that makes Chefchaouen special and unique from all the other cities in Morocco.

You may also be interested in taking pictures of the outstanding shops and bazaars that hum with different kinds of traditional handmade goods including rugs, bags, ceramic, wool blankets, the special Chaouen Hats, all these things combined give a beautiful burst of colours in the middle of the blue streets.

In addition to all this, there is also the natural landscapes, such as forests that surround the city, and the wonderful valleys, gorges, not to forget about the overwhelming Rif Mountains.

This beauty and the calm atmosphere of the town makes Chefchaouen very attractive to the visitors, and will surely inspire you as a photographer to take more outstanding pictures.
